Our Colleagues at the Fextralife Team Unveil a Fresh Hub for Game Modifications

The modding community has never been bigger or as in demand as it is now. Creators who designed innovative systems for iconic titles such as Skyrim and Baldur’s Gate III have landed prominent roles in the industry. Full-fledged projects were created on the backs of others. An individual even managed how to make Silksong slightly less challenging.

Truly, in this period, all things look feasible with a vision, coding skills, and some determination. Hence, it’s understandable that a growing segment of the market is seeking to back that continuously expanding modding community, and that our pals at Fextralife are getting in on the action. This week, the resource hub revealed it would broaden its services with the FXMods system, a “brand-new gaming mod platform created for players who desire a fast, no-cost, and unrestricted mods to enrich their preferred titles.

FXMods guarantees to be a free platform with no download speed throttling, immediate availability, and integration with the extensive Fextralife knowledge base, which aims to allow makers to obtain increased recognition as players discover their mods among other content.

What’s the hope for this new platform? I inquired Matt Hook from Fextralife, who has been fully engaged in leading the expansion.

“What we're doing here is sincerely seeking to put the users first,” Hook explains. “We want a excellent journey for mod users to be able to obtain custom content quickly and easily, and we want to compensate modification authors and members of the community with recognition and incentives.”
