The carrier to provide complimentary quick in-flight internet via space-based deal

Travelers aboard the airline will soon use quick wifi onboard free of charge following a recent partnership from Elon Musk's communications company.

Complimentary plus Quick Internet Available to Everyone

The carrier announced that this free, “reliable and lightning-fast” connectivity service through the satellite provider becomes offered to travelers in economy, business, or premium cabins as of soon.

Broad Rollout Throughout Several Carriers

The parent organization for BA, the airline group, confirmed it had reached an partnership with Starlink to provide wifi access on 500-plus jets operated by its airlines, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and Vueling.

Smooth Wifi from Boarding through Arrival

The airline noted that the implementation for this system was included in a seven billion pound “upgrade” program that will offer smooth wifi access to travelers starting at the gate to arrival, including when in flight over seas or far-off locations.

Passengers may link multiple devices and won't need to require a special password.

Present Internet Services

Basic wifi access remains provided to BA passengers on the majority of the airline's jets via its .air service.

Enrollees of BA’s frequent flyer program may send messages plus plain-text correspondence during flights free of charge, whereas travelers who want to stream music, films, and movies on the journey and are not flying in business or first can expect to be charged between £4.99 to £21.99 for a wifi plan.
