Which players were selected for Troy's English top-flight weekly best XI?
Following each set of top-flight fixtures in the current term, football pundit Troy Deeney presents his selections and coach of the Week.
Below are this week's picks. What's your opinion? Share your thoughts via the feedback section further down.
Keeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers might have been trailing by six at Bournemouth without him. Crucial performance, delivered and demonstrated top ability. Excellent keeping to secure a 2-2 draw. Losing would have damaged their whole season.
Defenders
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for season's best. People will talk Arsenal's squad. He is the top performer by far.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a wild optimist to say 'Murillo nets and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were long shots on that. He was excellent. He's becoming a force. He proves to be a handful. Pleased to watch him perform as he did previously.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I saw him several occasions earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled because he was making mistakes. Yet now he's been dominant. He displays immense power and forceful and looks elegant. It appears he has discovered a spiritual home.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a full-back, leaning towards a modern type going forward. He is a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them finding another gem unexpectedly? I thought releasing Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but Brighton know more than us.
Central players
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they are selected for the same reason. Their sides were victorious, everyone will talk the scorers, but lacking these players the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They break up play, they attack together.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. A lot of followers, such as family members, were questioning about his ability as the man to secure victory. Three goals in the north London derby and currently fans desire to erect a monument of him. Finishing, poise, he controlled the game. The standout individual on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it is quite challenging to bench him. My view was his beginning was strong the term, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could secure a transfer to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he seems to have settled down. Two great goals in the Leeds match helped his club from behind. He was the difference maker.
Attackers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I noted he appeared not his typical form. He looked like his pace had gone. But wow. That's all I can say. He performed superbly. Brilliant in his play and through his scoring.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He plays well, typically sharper as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he is required to feature. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. Yet possessing the mental fortitude to enter into difficult situations and score twice was great.
Boss
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and beats Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It might have been multiple goals for Forest and all would agree.
